By driving they can control the number of people they interact with, how many stops they make on the way and whether to take a detour or not.

Here are some Great Tips if you’re not going anywhere. Your vehicle needs taken care of while sitting.

While you’re staying home to take care of yourself, we recommend you perform these car care tips once a week to keep your vehicle healthy too.

Start your vehicle and let it run for 10-15 minutes to warm up the engine and fluids and keep your battery in good health. (Please check your local “idling” laws).

Move your vehicle slowly around the driveway or parking garage and lightly apply the brakes.

To avoid flat spotting in your tires, roll your vehicle forwards and backwards 6-8 inches once a week, parking on a different area of the tire.
Pro Tip: Use chalk or a piece of tape to mark the portion of the tire that’s in contact with the ground. This will ensure you’re parked on a new portion after you move your vehicle.

If you have a Hybrid or Electric, plug it in and allow it to charge at least once per week to maintain an optimum battery level.
