Valencia Auto Performance & Simply Smog Helps Santa Clarita Drivers Get Road Ready For The Season Ahead
Summer can be tough on your vehicle.
Months of Santa Clarita heat, stop-and-go driving, weekend trips and long stretches of running the air conditioner can take their toll. Now that fall is arriving, it’s a good time to give your vehicle some attention before holiday travel and cooler weather are suddenly on the calendar.
Valencia Auto Performance & Simply Smog can help make sure your car is ready for what’s next.
Summer May Be Ending, But Your Car Still Remembers It
Summer May Be Ending, But Your Car Still Remembers ItExtreme heat can put additional stress on several parts of your vehicle, including the battery, cooling system, belts, hoses, tires and fluids.
Even if your car seems to be running normally, small maintenance issues can become larger repair problems when they’re ignored.
That’s why fall is a smart time for a general vehicle checkup.
Have your fluids been checked recently?
Are your tires wearing evenly?
Are your brakes performing the way they should?
Is your battery still dependable?
Are there warning lights you’ve been meaning to have checked?
If you’re not sure, now is a good time to find out.
Don’t Ignore The Little Things
Cars have a funny way of whispering before they start shouting.
A new vibration, unusual noise, slow start, warning light, fluid spot in the driveway or change in the way your vehicle handles may be an early indication that something needs attention.
Getting those symptoms checked sooner can help identify a problem before it leaves you stranded or develops into a more expensive repair.
At Valencia Auto Performance, experienced technicians can inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair your vehicle so you can get back on the road with confidence.
Holiday Driving Will Be Here Before You Know It
Thanksgiving trips, holiday shopping, family gatherings and year-end travel aren’t very far away.
Before loading the car with luggage, gifts, kids or the family dog, make sure your vehicle is prepared for the extra miles.
Preventive maintenance now can include checking your:
- Engine oil and fluids
- Battery and charging system
- Brakes
- Tires and tire pressure
- Belts and hoses
- Cooling system
- Lights and wipers
- Air conditioning and heating system
Your vehicle doesn’t care whether it’s a summer vacation or Thanksgiving road trip. It just wants to be maintained.
