The Topping Brothers autismspeaksscv.com are working to increase funding and research to cure autism – join them in the fight!
When a child is autistic, and it’s discovered early, the response is critical. A child as young as 18 months can benefit from physical, occupational, speech and behavioral therapies. Early intervention is a critical tool for children to learn basic skills and ways of handling the world, lessons that would be far more difficult to learn later on. Parents can learn strategies, what works and what doesn’t, and ultimately be better prepared for what lies ahead.
Autism is the fastest growing developmental disorder, affecting 1 in 88 children born today. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls.
The Topping Brothers are working to change that. They held a golf fundraiser in 2015 to raise money for autism research, but more donations are needed. For more information, visit autismspeaksscv.com.
