Donna Winges is a 2011 graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences, College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Following graduation she was awarded a full scholarship by the Chinese Scholarship Council to further her studies at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The five years spent in China, studying Chinese medicine in the country of its founding gave her new skills and insights into the practice of this medical system. She has returned to California to use the knowledge she gained to bring healing and balance to her patients. Donna was fortunate to be a student of one of the most famous Chinese medicine doctors in China. From Dr. Wang Qi she learned a great deal about Body Constitution, in fact Dr. Wang’s development of Body Constitution theory has been incorporated into the Chinese healthcare system. Her research focused on modifying Wang Qi’s Body Constitution in Traditional Chinese Medicine Questionnaire for use here in the United States.
